a great place to stay while exploring

legendary pub comfortable beds limited parking good food
I didn't spend much time in the room, exploring the area. a legendary pub was steps away! there was also good food available. i appreciated the limited parking, which i could take advantage of. The beds were comfortable.
the walls were quite thin, and that did affect my sleep a little. i could hear other guests, which wasn't ideal. it was a minor inconvenience, though.
Dining
9/10
many restaurants were close to the hotel, that was AMAZING!!! you don't have to walk far for a meal. the area provides several choices, from casual cafes to more formal dining options. i tried a local place with traditional food and i was very satisfied.
Facilities
8/10
The hotel provided on-site parking, a great benefit. it removed the stress of looking for a space nearby. the 24/7 laundry was also helpful. I could wash clothes whenever needed.
Rooms
9/10
my beautiful double room had lots of space. it was spotlessly clean when i arrived. the bathroom was functional and very spacious. i also found all necessary utensils for ironing and drying my hair.
Service
10/10
i was greeted warmly upon arrival and was given useful tips about local attractions. staff were friendly and helpful with directions. their recommendations for local pubs and restaurants were especially useful .

The location was acceptable for accessing nearby restaurants.
My room faced the gravel driveway. Rubbish outside the window. I requested another room politely but was told I was the first to complain in four years. The host seemed disappointed with my request.
